let's go crazy with chicken curry

gbexpostlogo

Last night, I went to visit an Indian family in Makati for their festive celebration of the birthday of one of the couple's sons. Of course, I did expect a set of foods served on their dining table that were filled with hot and spicy stuffs. But from among the foods on the table, I loved most their chicken curry.
After devouring their chicken curry, I was so full and satisfied that Gulab was just so glad to see me scratching my little tummy. I asked him to teach me how to cook their kind of chicken curry and he gladly gave me his wonderful recipe. While I was writing down the ingredients and steps, he blurted out saying: "hey Gbex, don't tire yourself anymore. You can go to Utube and find the vid that deliberately teaches those who want to learn how to cook chicken curry." I smiled at him and felt relieved while still scratching and holding my stomach....and whispered to myself: "What a day with chicken curry!"...
The vid below will tell you the step by step procedure in cooking chicken curry....

coming soon...a movie to watch!

gbexpostlogo

This is an upcoming movie entitled "10,000 BC" which is scheduled to be shown on the first week of March and I bet you, this is gonna be another very good movie of Steven Strait, my favorite foreign actor.

The story of the movie tells us about a hunter in a mountain tribe. The hunter's name is D'Leh and has fallen in love with the beautiful Evolet, played by Camilla Belle.

When a group of strange warlords raided his village and kidnapped Evolet, D'Leh was forced to lead a small group of hunters to fight against the warlords to save her.

The story is indeed very poweeful and will give you an idea of how one in a savage ancient world fight to survive life.

the ACTORS

Steven Strait was hired by director Roland Emmerich, for the movie “10,000 B.C.” In this movie, Steven took on his biggest film challenge in the lead role of D’Leh, a prehistoric hunter forced onto a trek to save his tribe from extinction and save his love interest. The film is to be shown on the first week of March playdate.

careful...careful...

gbexpostlogo

After Dom told me, in his text messages, the incident that happened the other day in the dirt road going out of the monastery wherein his co-monk's car fell off the deep ditch (thanks God, it did not fall the cliff) on the hillside, and he came to rescue by pulling the dumped Blazer out the ditch and in the end his Xterra fell off too because it just couldn't pull the poor Blazer out of the ditch, I told him in my text messages that he should exercise extra effort to be very very careful in driving especially in that damn thirteen and a half mile slimy, snowy, mushy slippery dirt road leading to the first signs of civilization in New Mexico.

I understand that he needed to respond to a change in his lifestyle when he came over United States, and that was unavoidable and inevitable as he needed to adapt to his new environment.
I recalled to him that in the Philippines, he never drove the streets of Manila simply because public transport was bountiful and anywhere he went, he would only get a taxi cab or a passenger bus or a jeepney to get to the malls or to report for work in school.
I told him that it is only in the Philippines where jeepneys are crowding for passengers. But, all these, he left behind when he came to the USA to join Religious life- a different kind of lifestyle.

He was grateful to my reminders and advice especially after viewing these images that i sent in his email:

wordless Wednesday - awesome starfish!

My soulmate dom went to Mactan, Cebu sometime in January of the other year and brought along with him hisAmerican foster brother Jonathan for the Sinulog Festival. He told me that this kind of religious festive celebration is never experienced by the poor guy in Texas, USA. The rationale behind his tagging along with my friend and soulmate Dom, and his foster brother.
Dom told me how he went wordless when Jon went down the sea and when he came back, he had with him in his hands a live starfish which Dom has never seen in his entire life ( he saw dead ones, oh lots of them in the seashore of San Miguel Bay where his hometown is very near).

the day i shouted Hurrrraay!

gbexpostlogo

That was the day when my buddy's basketball team won the basketball championship tournament!...faculties, students, fans, and bystanders joined together in their great applause as the SBC team romped away the trophy and title: The Champion!
I could not also forget how my friends who witnessed the game with me really frolicked as they congratulated the basketeers!....such was a great and memorable feat!

Why did I monetize my blog?

For quite sometime, I have been surprised and amazed at how my friend bloggers earn a lot from monetizing their blogs. These really put me on the verge of getting so extremely curious and challenged and I have been asking myself over and over agin: “Will I monetize my blog too?” Well, the answer to the repetitive question in my mind was: “Why not? If there is a way for me to earn through blogging, then I guess, I must pursue it.”

The start of the hurdle: With the help of some friends who were already skilled and veteran paidpost bloggers, I was inspired to subscribe and get myself approved finally by PPP. It, indeed, is a very significant tool in making blog reviews in the world of internet advertising. But as for my getting-in in their powerful wings, I had to hurdle lots and lots of difficulties but these only challenged me more to keep going and not lose hope until I have finally met their requirements and so, here I am: their newest, youngest postie in the field of sponsored posting! That’s why to all of you who have plans of getting their blogs monetized, don’t hesitate to sign up in PPP.

By the way, do you want to know my noble aim behind the struggle to get my blog monetized? , and get hooked under PPP?
They are the reason:

i am here....and i will be here from now on.

I went with him. I drove my Exterra car and he drove his honda car.

Upon arrivng in the school where Amy teaches, I was introduced to another Filipino guy who just arrived very recently from Mountain Province, Philippines. Mike was teaching for a number of years in a Missionary School near Sagada. Well, I actually lost count of the Filipino teachers who were recruited for overseas teaching job here in New Mexico. If you are interested to apply for a teaching job and plan to migrate in United States and be a greencard holder, dont hesitate to email me and I will be more than willing to give you the contact information and details of Jeff, the owner of the placement agency that takes care of the rudiments in a successful overseas employment in United States.

Weekend Snapshot "Coconut Farm"

Everybody loves weekend, it is the time for leisure, recreation and other religious activities. And when everyone is having a grand time, you want to capture it and share it with others. That’s why Weekend Snapshot is here for you. Come and join the fun here.

My entry is pretty late this time but its okay, what is most important is to show my memorable experience in coconut farm.

The Coconut Palm (Cocos nucifera) is a member of the Family Arecaceae (palm family). It is the only species in the genus Cocos, and is a large palm, growing to 30 m tall, with pinnate leaves 4-6 m long, pinnae 60-90 cm long; old leaves break away cleanly leaving the trunk smooth. The term coconut refers to the fruit of the coconut palm.

The coconut palm is grown throughout the tropical world, for decoration as well as for its many culinary and non-culinary uses; virtually every part of the coconut palm has some human use.

your kuya dom is indisposed...

I got an email from my buddy , your kuya Dom, that he's sick. He caught the FLU virus from his monkbrothers who are, currently nursing their colds and Flus, too.....
Poor monk, He should be up in a week's time as I know that when he gets colds, it takes him time to recover from its symptoms and finally get rid of the cold virus....He told me, no posts to be posted in his tales blog while he is struggling with the cold virus...as he cannot write down his tales with his runny nose, coughs and muscular aches and all that...To his beloved blogger friends, please bear with him.

His latest profile during his visit to his homeopathy doctor for treatment of his symptoms from FLU.
